Mattin was a sort of assassin not very well renowned due to his general suspicion of everyone. He was bought by any who could afford. However, one job in particular was meant be to his down fall. The employer turned on Mattin and had his own man try to take Mattin out. However, it was a sloppy job leaving head trauma that caused amnesia. Xephyr ( Mattin's son) is an only child whose mother died giving birth. What I want is for Mattin to come to death and have him remember enough to know that Xephyr could be in trouble with his previous employer. And, Mattin is to request Ben to look after him as sort of a godfather because Mattin doesn't have anyone else to turn to.

Xephyr is supposed to be force sensitive and come under Ben as an apprentice. And, the typical plan was to put this in a period to help fill some gaps in Ben Kenobi's timeline. Which I am leaving to the descretion to him.

It's whatever.. but it would me the most sensible route of action. I still have a few kinks to work out as the where and when. Also, have to get Ben on here so I can work out his part in the events.

"Ok bud here is the deal with the RP. It will start on the 1st and will be called Distress Call

The basic story plot is the four of us, Kenobi, Kintaro, Mattin and D'tharni are traveling to the frozen planet of Alzoc III on a lead that a crime lord is hanging out there dealing heavily with the black markets. On our way we drop out of hyperspace to navigate around the Vergesso Asteroid Belt which is on the way to Alzoc III. From there we will receive a distress call from a nearby mining colony. We respond and discover that the colony is under attack by pirate slavers. We land on the station and route the slavers after a bloody fight. Then we discover that the slavers made off with a good number of the colonists and so we pursue them to an enclave of pirates, we infiltrate, rescue the prisoners and snuff out the slavers for good.

My story lines are VERY flexible and always open for anyone to jump in. Makes for better twists. Anyway, Mattin can be killed off at any time but if I may make a sugestion, your assassin has been tailing the party and upon seeing that Mattin is running with Jedi, he decides to get himself captured as a hostage of the slavers knowing that the Jedi would pursue... once we rescue the people, since they are 'innocent people' we have our guard down and the assassin strikes.

afterward we learn of Mattin's boy and so we make all haste to him in order to foil the next assassination attempt."
