A vivid swirl of colors ran through Buggie's mind. He was engulfed in the sea of reds, blues, and yellows; not knowing their purpose or their reason.
Everything seemed so calm and peaceful as Buggie lay and let the colors swirl around his body. Was it a new way of viewing the Force flowing and running
through every object? No, Buggie was quite certain of that, even in his current state. He tried not to think about questions or answers; his only purpose was
to float in these mysterious colors for as long as he could. It was the most relaxing moment Buggie had experienced in a long time. He had no idea where he was
or how he got there, but it was far away from a galaxy engulfed in turmoil. As he floated along in the sea of colors, Buggie knew his time had come. It was
time to face the galaxy once more. Suddenly, in a painless moment, it was all over.
Buggie opened his eyes to the world of Naboo once more. The sun shone beautifully into his window, illuminating a square shaped area on his bed. Buggie closed
his eyes again, trying to catch a few more seconds of wonderful sleep. It was all in vain, he knew, for it was time to get up. Sighing, Buggie rolled off of
his soft matress and stood up, stretching out his awakened body. After a series of satisfying pops and cracks, Buggie finished stretching and strode over to
his window. Naboo was obviously a beautiful place; it didn't matter who you were, it was just a commonly appreciated fact. It was also the secret home to
the Jedi Enclave, the main base, so to speak, of Jedi Coalition operations. This was where Buggie was living now, in peaceful comfort. He had begun his
strenuous training roughly a week ago with the assistance of the Grand Master Eryk Aiden. Now, Buggie's orders were to prepare to meet his own Master who
would take personal responsibility in directing his training. Buggie had been keeping his limited skills sharp while he awaited the arrival of his mysterious
Master. In his usual day-to-day routine, Buggie visited the Jedi Archives to view the history of the Jedi Order, now known as the Jedi Coalition. He had
learned a great deal, but was always mindful of the advice that Grand Master Aiden had bestowed upon him, "knowledge is nothing without
understanding."
Today would not be any different. Buggie would practice his skills outdoors after his mind had grown tired of reading and studying, at least that was the plan.
Buggie had found a particularly interesting piece in the Jedi Archives about various occupations that the Jedi held in the former Jedi Order. From Jedi
Librarian to Jedi Ace, the application of the Force to any occupation seemed extremely useful. One occupation that specifically interested Buggie was the role
of Jedi Investigator. He recalled reading that Investigators traveled the galaxy, defending against darkness and evil before they had a chance to strike. They
would use their Force skills to investigate phantom threats to the galaxy and bring them to a halt. As he stared out his window to the serene landscape of
forests and hills, he kept that occupation in the back of his mind. Buggie made a mental note to look it up once he arrived at the Jedi Archives.
Turning from the window, Buggie made his way over to his half-open closet. Pulling the door open all the way, Buggie reached in to his limited wardrobe and
pulled out his Jedi robes. Buggie was very proud of owning a set of Jedi robes and wore them to the Jedi Archives every day. Laying them down on his unmade
bed, Buggie looked at them proudly. The outer part of the robes was dark brown in color, with a hood on the back that Buggie liked to raise when practicing his
skills in the Force. The overtunic and undertunic were a pure brown color. A dark brown belt that was worn to keep his tunics together finished off the outfit.
Buggie took his beloved robes off of the hanger and dressed himself. Many Jedi had boots that they wore with their robes, but Buggie's feet were a
phenomenon to the tailor that took his measurements. Verpine had sharp claws on their feet, not to mention three toes which were spread out. Any type of boots
worn would be awkward, hideous, and not functional. As Buggie pulled on his undertunic, he imagined what they would look like. Clown shoes were the first image
that flashed through his head. In any case, the tailor pieced together his robes in a way that didn't call for boots. As a result, the tunics flowed down
above his knees in a sort of loose skirt. To fix this, Buggie was issued some tight brown leggings that would complete his outfit without awkwardness. Overall,
it ended up looking fine, despite the complications. Buggie was proud to wear his robes, no matter how they looked.
Pulling on his outer robe, Buggie finished getting dressed and closed his closet door. Buggie now had the feeling of being ready to start the day. Stepping
back over to his bed, he began to put his sheets back into order, as always. Unlike humans, Verpine needed to do little in the morning to make themselves look
socially acceptable. No hair to comb and no teeth to brush meant that Buggie was, for all intents and purposes, ready to go as soon as he woke up. After a few
moments, Buggie had finished making his bed. He fluffed his pillow and then set it back on top of his sheets. Now that he had done his usual morning routine,
Buggie was ready to set out for the Jedi Archives.
Opening his door and stepping out into the hall, Buggie closed the door behind him. As soon as the door quietly clicked shut, Buggie began walking to the Jedi
Archives.
