Jax sat alone in a cantina on the edge of Corporate Space. He knew what he was doing. He had his orders from his superiors who were sick of the infighting
within the Direx Board. There was only one way to settle it. Give them something to fear. The faction had acquired enough resources to assist an unlikely man
bring about such changes. They had to succeed. There was no option about it.
The price for the assistance seemed to pale in comparison. They would be risking much including their lives while their leadership went to work on their fellow Direx members. Yes, it would work. But Jax had to wait till the others arrived or at least came to bring him to the main effort. Then Jax would signal the Corporate forces loyal to the faction calling itself "The Knife."
Time. They had time. The plan required a few more pieces to fall in place, but everyone from the clown of an ExO to that Chiss commodore would dread the day the Knife enacted its plans. The nightmare would spread out like a plague. From one world to another, change would come to the galaxy. It was time to put an end to it all. They were sick of it. The Knife would cut its way through whatever opposed them with the help of their new friends.
Not even the Direx's new toy army could stand in their way. Jax only feared they had to few ships. Never could have too much firepower on your side. But no, they had enough. They had small force, a fast force, a crippling force. Cut the head off the beasts and they'd fall. All the ships by now had a blade panted on their hulls to signal their new allegiance within the Corporate Sector. Phase one would start soon. The nightmare was awakening...
