Two things....... one I was wondering who the force mods are now and secondly, I was wondering if anyone would object to us still posting the force apps in the
academy like we usesd to. I just liked being able to tell when someone checked my apps or not. just an enquiry..... though I'm not sure if this is the
proper place for it.
On the SLIU its just the same as forum. When its done, they have to click and comment. Then on your status page, homepage, of your personal page in the SLIU,
will show 1 less pending. I mention personal since you are a FL. I love the sliu in this area. >< no long list of roster posts to figure out.
J and Sal are the two mods that I know of.
But umm, the forum needs a checking by a mod. ^-* I know you have one issue posted and so do I in the same topic. Not a rush or anything. xD

I didn't mean instead of applying on the IU (sry didn't make that part clear) I meant in addition to. simply because, how it was explained to me was
that either the app was left until the end of the month to be denied because of a word count or approved because of it meeting it. My thing is that I can't
tell if the app has even been looked at or not and thus I don't know If I should add more words or what. with the academy part the mods simply said yes or
no and sometimes how short you were. I'm only asking because I don't want to keep asking someone as busy as Salem or Jay if they had the chance to look
over it when, with the academy system I can tell whether they did or not.
This is how it works, I know since I did it for a while.
I look at the app in sliu.
Count words like nuts and trim the fat.
I will either approve or deny it.
If its word count issue, I may even just message you before denying it so you don't have to post it up again.
When you approve/deny it makes you post a message. denials HAVE to have a reason in there. Though I would like to see in SLIU 2.0, when this happens it emails
you or something.
Now looking at, that is ummm well. If you put it in the academy, you'll see people clicked it but it doesn't mean the mod did. And if I was part of it,
you post apps in SLIU. I'm not going to bother with anything in the force forum app wise unless its an error or something. Just more work for a mod
position htat already has to read and reread THOUSANDs upon thousands of words a month. It tends to burn you out quick. xD Especially the worthless C/S/A
stuff. I sense. I sense. hehe
Technically, you could use "rio" as a three letter nickname since its the core part of the full name but umm.... no one would know who you are
talking to nor would I.
I cleared the apps at the beginning of this week. I'll do the same on Monday, after guilt tripping salem in to doing some of them before I do
Please do use the SLIU for applications. If apps aren't dealt with via the SLIU they have to be manually added, which increases the chances of human error.
That is, if we consider Sal to be a fully fledged human...
Regarding knowing when an app has been looked at- if it's been approved or denied then it's been looked at. If it's just sitting there, it
hasn't. The exception to this is when someone is being lenient and allowing you to beef up the word count of an otherwise decent application, rather than
just denying it outright. In this circumstance you'll be notified by the mod in question. So, if you've heard nothing and your app is pending it means
nobody has got to it yet.
