A campaign is a large roleplay involving as many members of the board as possible. They are usually built around one major quest or event, but it is likely there will be other sub-quests and mini-adventures included. Rewards for campaigns are usually fairly high. Only an administrator may run a campaign.
A mini-campaign is a smaller event, and usually has a limited number of spaces available. They tend to focus on a single event, though occasionally that can change. Rewards for mini-campaigns are smaller than those for a campaign, and are suggested by the person running the mini-campaign (though administration can reject certain rewards if necessary). A mini-campaign can be run by anyone, provided they run their ideas by Kal Strife first.
Moderated adventures are structured adventures run by a player without admin approval. They tend to be similar to Mini-campaigns in scope, but any rewards must come in the form of player donations. Anyone may run a moderated adventure, but we request that you consider your RP abilities and activity before starting.
2) What sort of rewards are likely to show up?
Rewards in Campaigns and Mini-campaigns come in the form of Campaign Points (CPs) and Mini-Campaign Points (MCPs). These are allocated to each player whenever they reach an objective, or provide a particularly good post, though there is also a small reward for activity. At the end of the (mini-)campaign, a special store will be posted on the forums so that you can exchange these (M)CPs for rewards such as:
Credits
XP
Store items
Unique items
