It was a planet rich in plant life yet still fairly inhospitable. Due to the lack of inhabitants the plants there were left to grow unhindered and wild, resulting in a wide variety of rare, large and wonderful species which lived in harmony with the many different animal species. Eryk and Buggie had travelled to Felucia as part of a Jedi-operated scientific exercise to document and gather some of these rare plant species, with the hopes that new discoveries might be made and that some of these new species might be able to be synthesised into medicinal or other useful agents. It was a fairly simple task. There was no belief that it might be in any way dangerous, despite the planet being awash with dark Force energy. It would also be a handy exercise for Buggie, who had yet to fully understand the power the dark side of the Force could hold. The climate was hot and humid as Eryk exited his personal light freighter, the Novalis, and set about cataloguing the different plant types. Since the Force was strong on the planet it made it easier for him to reach out and sense the different lifeforms which were abundant on the planet's surface. The living Force was strong on Felucia and it reminded Eryk of how beautiful nature actually was. Eryk set off on his own, with his lightsaber for protection, walking amongst the many large, alien plants, getting a feel for them through the Force, hoping to locate the rare species they were here to discover.

Flipping through a couple of pages quickly, he then turned and left the small room he had borrowed from Eryk on the Novalis. Stepping off the ramp, Buggie was awed by the giant mushroom-like stalks that went as far as the eye could see. In a moment, Buggie could feel the humidity of the planet bearing down onto him. Stepping off the ramp and opening his guidebook to a page that he had marked earlier, Buggie set off to find Grand Master Eryk. He would need assistance in finding the flowers that they were looking for. Although the guidebook would be useful, Buggie had no doubt that Eryk would eventually find what they were looking for. The Grand Master's powers in the Force were not to be underestimated. Buggie knew this well, and respected Eryk's wisdom. The humidity made the planet feel uncomfortable to Buggie. Already he felt as if he had been drenched in a fine layer of sweat. As he made his way to the edge of the clearing that Eryk had landed in, Buggie reached out with the Force to try to sense Eryk. In an instant, Buggie's senses were overloaded with a massive number of lifeforms. Quickly trying to process all of the information he had just sensed, Buggie took a moment to calm himself. After crouching down and resting, Buggie felt as if he was weighed down by something. Not sure what it was that made him feel so sluggish, Buggie cursed the humidity and heat. Committing himself to finding Eryk on foot, Buggie passed around a group of massive mushroom-like plants, while being careful not to get lost. As he advanced, he finally saw the Grand Master, surveying a group of plants. As Buggie approached Eryk, he opened the guidebook again and said, "The guidebook says that we'll have to watch out for Acklay. They've been known to launch fatal attacks on travelers. In this humidity, I don't think I'd stand much of a chance against anything that's attacking. It feels like this humidity is weighing me down. How are you feeling Master?"

From that thought a tired determination reignited, soon he would finally be able to rest. After days of running, his arm searing in agony despite the bacta saturated cloth binding it, the former Dark Lord of the Sith would find the only being in the galaxy who could help him. Help! Churs screamed into the Force, stumbling out of Jafar with little of his usual grace as he gagged on the pungently warm air. The Jedi would ask questions, he probably wouldn't approve of the methods Rani employed to find him. Desperation staunched his hesitations however. The fall from the top had been vicious and unforgiving, and crashing into rock bottom was almost too much for the fugitive to endure. The dethroned Sith had survived his own death and knew there was no comparison: this was far worse. You should kill him before he can kill you, you have no allies left Skyler taunted in silent cruelty, his own strength increasing as Rani's faded. "Why do you and the brat any favors." Churs countered aloud, grimacing as the simmering air lacerated his dehydrated throat. Skyler cackled inhumanely but otherwise did not reply, the sudden emergence of Jinn's presence had occupied the rogue. "Thanks." Rani expected no response from the Jedi presence, he knew that Jinn would be occupied with keeping Skyler at bay. Still, he was grateful for the rare moment of silence within his own mind. Eryk! Called the defeated maverick into the Force, stumbling as fast as he could toward the two Force signatures he could feel. So desolated was the humbled youth that he hadn't given any thought to just how the Jedi Grandmaster and his companion would react to the sudden appearance of the former Dark Lord. Covered in little more than rags, his cloaking having been burnt and slashed to shreds and his armor shattered during the struggle for his mantle and survival, and with his right arm bound in sodden materials he must have looked a despicable mess. Eryk could sense Buggie approach and turned to face him. Buggie was hard at work, scanning a guidebook for information. His warning of Acklay was well founded. "It is true there were once Acklay here on Felucia, but it is my understanding that most of them were wiped out during the Clone wars. However, you are correct in the suggestion that we need to be careful, after all, those creatures are excellent survivors. Plus, Acklay are not the only dangerous creatures here on Felucia, though I do not think we will be attacked as long as we are careful in how we go about our work." Eryk wiped some sweat from his brow. The climate was a lot more humid that on Naboo and Eryk wondered if the Verpine were able to cope well with such humidity. "I must admit, I too am feeling the heat. Though, I have mastered the Force to allow me to regulate my body temperature in order to keep it at an optimal level. Still, I suggest we both try and keep ourselves hydrated and cool. Try and take things easy until you get used to the climate here. If you start to feel unwell feel free to head back to the ship to recover." Eryk began to look at the plants again. So far he had not found any rare species, but they had just started. Pushing his senses out again in order to try and pick out anything new Eryk suddenly felt a surge in the Force... an aura he knew all too well. In his mind he felt his name being called. "Buggie, I feel we are not alone here. I sense a dark presence approaching us. It is someone I know, but I am unsure of their current intentions. Remember, the job of a Jedi is not to fight, but to find a peaceful solution. We fight only to defend ourselves, so first let us see what this person wants." Eryk wondered what Rani was doing here. The fact he called out however suggested he wanted to talk. Eryk hoped there would be no need for violence.

Buggie had only met other Jedi, but he knew from his studies that the dark side of the Force corrupted and twisted its users almost beyond repair. Buggie hoped that whatever it the presence was, it wasn't another Force user. Flashbacks of the tavern incident that Buggie had endured filled his mind. The spray of blaster bolts surrounding him, screaming to him a certain, painful death. Buggie couldn't stand to repeat that now. Taking a shaky breath, Buggie tried to calm himself. He hoped that Eryk had not noticed his sudden shock at the news of a dark presence nearby. Buggie resolved to gain his composure back. There was nothing he could do but wait to see what happened within the following moments. Perhaps nothing would emerge to meet the two Jedi. Working himself up now would only further complicate matters if he and Eryk were attacked. Buggie allowed the Force to run through him, relaxing his tension. Whatever happened now, he would be ready.

Jinn advised, breaking his recent silence. Churs expected to hear Skyler jam his two credits in the equation but heard only the sounds of his own labored breathing. "I can't... I can't clear my mind." Rani panted, his lungs burning with the effort of continuing toward Eryk and the other unknown imprint upon the Force. Jinn replied in soothing tones but the outcast could not hear anything except the deafening sound of his blood pounding in his ears. "I need. I need quiet." Gasped the Wild Card in desperation, hardly noticing as he stumbled through a barbed bush that drew deep bloody gashes. The spiked plants bit deep but Rani was beyond noticing such trivial discomfort. Why don't you Shadow-walk? This is my body you are destroying. Skyler thundered, making himself heard above the hurricane that was the combined sounds of Churs' breathing and heart beat. "Can't." Rani answered simply, too far past exhaustion to bother elaborating. The Sith exile fell roughly on what appeared to be a freakishly large fungus. The soft skin of the mushroom felt forgiving upon his damaged flesh. Fatigue had cocooned the wounded youth too fiercely for him to even notice anything odd about the fact that the decomposer quivered under his touch. He was, however, alert to notice when he found himself suddenly hurling through the air as the bulbous orb suddenly swelled and sent him flying. It turns out the flight was exactly what Rani needed, minus the additional pain of impact. The trajectory of the throw dropped him practically on top of Eryk and his companion. "Help." Posts: 605 (07/04/09 02:39:36) Force Moderator Jedi Grand Master Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Eryk hit the ground with a thud as his friendly rival Rani Churs lay on top of him in a bloody heap. The word 'help' coming from the Echani's mouth was more than enough for Eryk to know something was seriously wrong. Gently, Eryk rolled Rani off of him and onto the soft ground as he knelt down beside him. "What happened to you?" Eryk could see clearly that Rani was hurt, and bad. His body was covered in cuts and bruises, only some of which might have been caused from running wildly through the planet's barbed plants. One of his arms had been wrapped in a cloth which smelt like bacta fluid, again suggesting Rani had been in some major battle. The big question though, was why would he seek Eryk out instead of returning to the Sith? Kneeling down beside Rani, Eryk gathered up as much of his own Force energy as he could from inside his body and controlled its flow so that it gathered in abundance in his hands. He then held his hands above Rani's body so that his palms were facing downwards. Eryk then released all of the light sided Force energy he could so that it surrounded and encased the Echani's body. Concentrating, Eryk then began to visualise the light side energy healing Rani's wounds. As Eryk's Force energy began to flow across Rani's body it began to close up most of the more harmful cuts and wounds which had been sustained. It would be enough to stabilise Rani and allow him to remain conscious, but he would require further treatment in a medical facility to fully heal. Eryk had a small medical bay on his ship which might do the trick, but first of all he had to determine what threat if any Rani held. Last time they met they had fought together, side by side, on the planet Geonosis in order to defeat an evil man who was the origin of Rani, for the Rani Eryk knew was a clone of this evil man. However before that they had fought against each other a number of times, once leaving Eryk critically wounded. Hopefully with Rani's condition stabilised he might be able to offer up some answers. "Relax yourself", Eryk said to Rani calmly "You've been badly injured. I've healed what I can but you need proper medical assistance. What happened to you Rani?" Eryk turned to Buggie, who was no doubt confused as to why Eryk was helping an enemy of the Jedi. "Do not fear Buggie, though this man is an agent of the dark side he is in need of our help. Our job is to save and preserve lives no matter who they are. Remember, no one is beyond redemption. It is not our job to decide who lives and dies."

Posts: 86 (07/04/09 02:57:56) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	When Buggie looked out from behind the large mushroom-like stalk from which he had fled, he saw Eryk healing a strange man. Instantly assuming that this was the dark side user, Buggie hurried over and crouched down next to the Grand Master. Closer to the action, Buggie could feel the light side energy that Eryk used to heal the man. As Buggie looked over the dark side user, he grimaced at the injuries that the man had sustained. The strange man was almost covered in dried blood, his skin having been torn open at many locations. Battered and bruised, the man was clad in torn garments. He had obviously seen a fight, but where did he come from? Not wanting to get in the way, Buggie looked toward Eryk. It was then that Eryk reminded Buggie that it was their responsibility to do whatever they could to save the man. Nodding, Buggie proceeded to do the only thing he could think of at the moment. Taking the guidebook, Buggie waved it over the man's face like a fan. He was likely suffering from the heat and humidity just as much as he and Eryk were. In his fragile state, any means of cooling down would help. "Hang in there, sir," Buggie said the man. Giving a concerned look, Buggie then told the Grand Master, "Eryk, if there's anything more I can do, let me know. I hate to say this, but I don't have any medical supplies on me."

Rani observed with a grimace as he sat up painfully. A sudden pain in his right side made the transient draw a quick breath. Feeling along his side for the source of the pain, Churs winced as his questing fingers met a jagged piece of stone wedged into his flesh by one of the few remaining remnants of his armor. You are babbling, Rani. Jinn gently chided, his tone one of concern and not of anger. He killed us and you think he deserves compassion? Skyler demanded with renewed fury, now weakened by the small surge in Rani's strength brought upon by the healing. Plus it didn't hurt the former Darth that he no longer had to trek through hostile terrain. "Would you two just let me talk?" Demanded the exile, his fingers now covered in blood as he pulled at the stone. "Not you two, the voices in my head." Hardly a thorough explanation, but now that he found the Jedi Rani was having a difficult time focusing. A moment of silence later the talkative ex-Sith tossed the blood soaked mineral into the grass nearby with relief. "The day you thought I died, I stole Skyler's body. Only he's still here, and so is the Jedi who preformed the transfer. There are other presences here too, but it's like they're shadows or something. My mind is fragmented, fractured. I need healing before I lost control completely. Isn't that what the Jedi are supposed to do?" Rani explained with variable coherency, half his attention now focused on the unbearable itch consuming his injured arm. "I have a fever, several of these wounds are infected as well, if that explains anything. Hard to believe that just days ago I was the Dark Lord of the Sith. Did he tell you that?" The latter statement and question were directed toward Buggie as Rani's dancing vision brought him instead of Eryk into focus. Sithlore:Star Wars Roleplaying

Still the news of these inner voices concerned Eryk greatly. "You know, for a Sith Lord you sure do complain a lot", Eryk joked as he finished healing the Echani through the Force, before turning to Buggie. "Yes Buggie, this man is indeed a Sith Lord, or at least it seems he was one. That would explain why he sought us out. As you can imagine from agents of the dark side, back-stabbing is common place. Yet, while he is... or was... a Sith, we both have a strange history together which would take too long to explain right now. Needless to say if this man was truely evil we might both be dead already. I'm going to need you to trust me on this matter. Don't worry, I'll be keeping a keen eye on him." Eryk turned back to face Rani. "I may be able to help you take control of your multiple personalities Rani, but in order to do so you will need to come under my tutelage. For now though, I have a functional bacta tank on my ship, let's get you fulled healed, then perhaps we can have a more intelligable conversation, and you can explain exactly what is going on."

Trying to disguise his brief reaction, he quickly began fanning the injured Dark Lord again. With everything happening so quickly, Buggie didn't blame Eryk for not bringing it up. After all, it was Eryk who had just reminded him that the Jedi's duty was to protect others, no matter who needed it. Before Buggie had an opportunity to realize that while he thought, he was looking at Eryk, the Grand Master began to speak. Telling Buggie of the background between the two of them, Eryk went on to explain a possible reason for why the Dark Lord had suddenly appeared. Buggie trusted Eryk's judgement to help the man. If he was to fully recover though, Buggie and Eryk would have to transport him out of the heat. Buggie hoped that they had acted quickly enough to save the man, Sith or not. "Do you think you'll be able to handle us moving you? The ship isn't that far away from here," Buggie said to the Dark Lord, as he continued his attempt to cool the Sith down using the guidebook.

Rani stated with sudden clarity, pupils dilating as he rapidly scanned to ensure the three of them were alone. "We won't be safe with the Alliance." The former Dark Lord explained, painfully rising to his feet. Now that he found Eryk, Churs wasn't sure what his next move was. He did know, however, that it did not involve remnants of the Republic. "How can you still trust them after everything they've done? I found you because of them. Now that I'm no longer a Sith, I can't stop them from using the Rebels to come after the Jedi again." Coherency was returning fast, but with it a fresh fear welled up without the Echani. Time and time again the Republic had served as a way to strike out against the Jedi. Its last incarnation had even imprisoned and persecuted the order. "Even if they are sincere about wanting to be allies again, their lax security lead me to you two. He wasn't surprised that Rani feared going to a world which until recently he considered an enemy, after all, he would probably be even less safer there. What worried Eryk was the mention of the rebels being the cause of the Jedi's downfall. It was clear Rani had found the Jedi far too convientiently, considering it was supposed to be a simple scientific mission to study plants on Felucia. "Is there nowhere you can think of which is safe for you? No planet you call home, or at least consider a sanctuary of sorts?" Eryk paused. He hoped Rani would answer this next question with as much urgency as when Eryk asked it. "Also, what did you mean when you said the rebels were a liability and a threat to the Jedi? How exactly can the Sith use the Rebels to find the Jedi? Are we that much at risk?" Eryk wasn't sure he was going to like the answer, but he needed to know. He always said he would help the Rebel Alliance if they required assistance, after all their goals were pretty much the same, but his first priority was to lead and ensure the well-being of the Jedi Coalition and all the Jedi under his care, and if there was a possibility that being so closely linked to the Rebel Alliance was having a damaging impact on the Jedi then Eryk would have to look into furthering his ideals of making the Jedi a group completely seperate of outside politics, able to act independently in their furthering quest for galactic peace.

Not wanting to interrupt, Buggie was intrigued by the Dark Lord's shift in attitude. When Buggie had asked whether or not the Dark Lord was able to be moved, he simply meant to find out if the Dark Lord of the Sith's injuries would be worsened if he was helped to the bacta tank aboard the Novalis. Of course, with the Dark Lord of the Sith now standing, the true meaning of Buggie's question had been answered. The Sith's sudden reaction made Buggie think that he had touched on a sensitive subject. To make matters worse, the Sith had hinted that the Rebel Alliance was endangering the Jedi Coalition. If this was true, the Jedi could be in great peril from those who would seek their destruction. Still, Buggie was skeptical as to the Sith's motives. "Pardon my interruption, Master. I know it's not my place to speak, but what if this is just a ploy to seperate the friendship between the Alliance and Jedi Coalition?" Buggie suggested to Eryk. Looking up to the Sith, Buggie quickly added, "No offense, of course."

I have never cared for any of the others of your order but I have three separate changes to remove your leaders past and presence. It is not the Rebels that protect you, it was my choice." Rani spoke slowly, careful to ensure his answer didn't slip down the slope of defensiveness. "It was the Republic that allowed for your Taris temple to be destroyed, and likely their fault that Taris followed shortly after. Think about it. I was there the night the Dragons attacked the temple, I personally altered the droids that slaughtered the council the next day. It was the Republic that let me in, and the Republic that capitalized on the acts of the Dragons. How many Jedi died under Zenos? Do you really want to trust the lives of your order with alliance spawned under such circumstances? The Alliance still hasn't discovered the droids under Sith control, even after all this time. Being their crutch just makes you an easy target. I know that if you follow a Rebel long enough they will lead you to a Jedi, how long before the Empire realizes the same?" Churs had to pause to breathe, such a speech had taken more energy out of him then he had expected. Eryk had brought him back from the brink of death but he was far from completely recovered. "I know somewhere safe. I made sure of it." It had been over a year since Rani trusted anyone enough to bring them to the Scarlet Echani but desperate times called for desperate measures. Such revelations were not so much a surprise, but Eryk had not expected to hear them uttered in such a conversation. Eryk steadied the Echani as he stood back up before turning to Buggie. "Your point is a valid one Buggie, it is true that Rani may indeed be trying to trick us. However, what you must understand is that I have had numerous encounters with this man and it is not in his nature to obscure the truth in such matters. For a Sith, I always found him to be forthright and straight thinking; and as he said, he has no reason to lie about such things. In fact in many ways Rani is simply misguided; and from what I have managed to ascertain myself about what happened on Taris, I am afraid he could very well be telling the truth. I believe we are going to have to trust him just as he has placed trust in us." Turning back to face Rani, Eryk confronted the ex-Sith with a proposal. "I shall take you to this safe place you speak of. I am sure we will be able to help your recovery on the way there. However, what you speak of is of great concern to me. I have always wished for the Jedi to be seperate from any political cause for the excact reasons you have mentioned. It seems that in my wish to help the floundering Republic bring back democracy and peace to the galaxy I have put the Jedi at risk. I would say you need to make amends for the part you played in the slaughter of the previous Jedi Council but to be honest much worse things have happened since then. It seems the Republic, and to an extent the rebellion which has formed to take its place, has become corrupted so much that it has become a threat to us. If you are feeling up to this I hope that you will be able to tell me more about what you know and perhaps we can work out a solution which will benefit the both of us." Eryk began to lead Rani steadily past the alien plants of Felucia, back towards the Novalis. If the Jedi were truely at risk as Rani had suggested, and from what Eryk could see it was a good possibility, then something needed to be done as soon as possible.

While Buggie thought his skepticism was well-founded, he trusted the Grand Master's experience. After all, Eryk had already mentioned that he had dealt with the Sith on numerous occasions. Still, Buggie didn't want to believe that the Jedi were in so much danger from their friends in the Alliance. On the other hand, Buggie deemed it foolish to ignore such a warning of danger. If the Grand Master himself had doubts of the security between the Alliance and Jedi Coalition, than Buggie was forced to think likewise. As Eryk and Rani, the former Sith Lord, began to move slowly towards the ship, Buggie followed behind. Listening to the conversation, Buggie felt as if he was caught in the middle of an issue that was much larger than him. He felt that he should make an effort to keep quiet and stay out of the way. Both Masters of the Force were dealing with matters that did not involve Buggie. As Buggie passed by a giant mushroom stalk, he began to feel as if this simple scientific mission was about to turn into something much more important.

Rani spoke aloud for the benefit of the Jedi, and repeated the message via telepathy so that the seed ship actually heard it from his resting place where Churs landed on planet. "I cannot speculate on the corruption of the Rebellion, but I do know they are a liability for you. I found you through them, others could as well. Rumors of a war monger calling himself a Jedi Lord, a title of command of both the Jedi and Rebellion, have reached Ziost. I had intended on destroying Naboo to end the Rebellion presence rumored to be there and implied by their lack of cooperation by the Empire. Since I've seen you, Eryk, or other Jedi on the planet with each visit I suspect that such a loss would have been devastating to the Jedi as well. I am entitled to say whether the Rebels hold ill will towards you or not, but by continuing such close ties with them you link your fate to their own." Churs wasn't sure what else to say, he wasn't entirely sure why he was helping the Jedi now that he was here. He just knew a few simple things. The closest thing to a family Rani had even known had betrayed and nearly killed him. The only being he could trust was also the one who should have been his sworn enemy, Eryk. By forming their strange friendship instead of killing Aiden when he had the chance, Tigon had dug his own grave as Dark Lord. Quite a coded little sentence but Eryk was able to deduce that 'Jafar' referred to the ex-Sith's ship, which Eryk heard taking off from behind a mass of overgrown plants. The roar of the engines and the sight of a weird looking seed ship brought back memories to Eryk, who had actually ridden on Rani's ship before. Ridden on was the appropriate phrase, since Eryk once literally hung onto the ship's wing as it flew around and tried to kill him during a previous encounter. This time however, it seemed the ship would be leading them to the 'Scarlet Echani', which was obviously some ship or other locality, most likely the 'safe place' Rani had mentioned before. It would be easy for the Novalis to follow this ship and lead Rani to relative safety. However, his safety alone could not be assured. Like it or not, Rani would need to depend on Eryk and the Jedi in order to survive. Luckily, Eryk was not one to hold a grudge. He was a firm believer that no one was beyond redemption, especially Rani, who as far as Eryk concern still had some good in him; he just needed someone to help him see it. Rani's warning that the Rebellion was a liability to the Jedi still worried Eryk, even though deep down Eryk had always known there would be risks involved in aiding them. The Jedi had been through so much due to their stance on the rebellion. Perhaps things had truly gotten out of hand. Eryk, however, was glad that Rani seemed to be willing to help them, for what it was worth. Eryk and Buggie continued to help Rani walk towards the Novalis, as the boarding ramp lowered as Eryk's droid sensed his master approaching. "Rani, I appreciate the warnings you have given me. Despite the fact that we have differing views on things and that fate has forced us to be at odds with each other, it doesn't mean that we can not be friends. I already respected you as a fellow Force user and as a fighter, but now I also see that you have goodness in your heart. You may not wish to believe it, but perhaps the reason you did not make it as a Sith Lord was because the Sith was not where you were supposed to end up."

As Buggie carefully kept an eye out in case Rani needed help, his mind still raced with thoughts of the current conversation. Although this whole trip was supposed to be a simple scientific study, from what Buggie gathered, he and Eryk were now going to transport Rani to a secret location. Not that Buggie protested, but for such a quick and easy mission, this was turning out to be an adventure. As Buggie advanced up the boarding ramp, he heard Eryk telling Rani that, despite his former occupation, perhaps he wasn't meant to be a Sith. Letting that thought brew in his mind for a moment, Buggie considered the possibility. Could a person be redeemable even if they are the epitome of evil? With the Force guiding everything, it was certainly feasible. Perhaps the ex-Sith Lord was misunderstood, Buggie thought, but even if so, could he be redeemed? Buggie decided to listen in on more of Eryk and Rani's conversation. Perhaps he could learn and meditate on a thing or two they discussed. With two masters of the Force present, Buggie had no doubt that he could learn some valuable information.

Feel free to correct me if some of the stuff I say occurred in transit is not to either of your liking. IC: "The casino floor is being renovated; no one will bother us there." Rani stated wearily as he led the Jedi through the ornate lobby to the equipment strewn room occupied by exposed wiring, cluttered furniture and tools of every nature. Using the Force, the morally confused youth brought a table and three lavish chairs to the center of the area and stumbled into the comfort of the seat. "You may be right." Rani admitted, referring to the conversation Aiden and Churs had on the journey about the nature of good and evil, and on the concept of redemption. Eryk had speculated about why they had worked together in the pat and why Tigon had spared the Jedi's life he was a true Sith. His padawan had also made valid points, albeit in his own naive way, with the simple observation that it was the Jedi that Rani had sought out in time of need. "I think you're right, actually." He corrected himself, sitting up straighter in the chair. Rani had contributed the unfortunate state of affairs the Jedi and the Rebellion found themselves in.
