In the coming weeks, several "Ascension:" storylines will appear in the General Roleplaying forum, starting with the "Ascension: Rise to Power" roleplay, which outlines how Selaenia became Auditor-General of the Corporate Sector Authority, and how she will eventually seize power as Prex of the entire CSA. Throughout these roleplays, Etti IV will be in a state of perpetual chaos as an unknwon and extremely lethal and violent virus has broken out on the planet's surface. Since Etti IV is a very busy business hub for the entire galaxy, I will be looking for FL approvals to spread the virus to other planets, but be warned.... only Selaenia has the cure. No other cure will be accepted for the roleplays, so if you decide to allow the virus to spread to one of your planets, know that you will have to deal with the CSA or BSP to get he cure.
Eventually the Blue Star Pirates will steal the cure, allowing the virus to be cured throughout the galaxy for a price by either the CSA or BSP depending on your political standing, but expect it to wipe out a large portion of your population. This will also lead to increased tensions between the CSA and the BSP, and a possible large-scale conflict.
