Wrong place for this thread but to answer your question:
No, it's not dying. SL has its peaks and its pauses, mainly dependent on the lives of those who staff and rp it. Since few have the initiative to start
their own active tops, it comes down to the few who are regular topic starts to provide the members with something to do. If those people are busy with work,
school, and/or life in some combination then this doesn't get down. My own MC has come to a temporary halt due to the train wreck of activity my life is
atm and many of the staff and senior members are suffering similar lack of availability.
This time of year it's hardly unusual for there to be a low amount of posts daily, mainly due to the aforementioned reasons. It also doesn't help that
some members can only be on during the school year due their internet access being dependent on their location.
Every year someone posts a thread with this very same, or very similar name, and much discussion and finger pointing follows until one of the admin pops up and
said in essence what I said above so I'm skipping to that part and copying this into word so I can paste it in twelve months.
Hope that clears it up some, now I have a train wreck to attend to.
Sl is a hrad thing to kill. it has a few dedicated people who aren't going anywhere, period. A bunch who are semi here always. Then all the rest who come
and go often or come and just go.
Summer time, Christmas time, exam time, so forth. Things normally slow down. This is by far the worst I've seen it in ages. So many people hit at one time.
I'm here. I can rp, but I'm busy writing my own stories, editing them, and getting ready to send 'em off.
See hwat happens when Jay dissappears? The forum gods start making our posts show up in the wrong forum. Tsk tsk tsk. Yuku Magicians doing their job...
Actually I know when it will kick the bucket. Oh yes I do. The day Luca stops talking to Jay. Kiss SL goodbye! lol SLIU gone. Every staff person goes
looking for a gun to avoid the mess of a manual system.
Okay, time for people who don't normally hatch plans and rps to start doing it. This is nuts. >.> I'm working on a few ideas, but must wait for
thumbs up from someone. Then no matter what I'm going to toss something up.
Last time I talked to Jay, he said he would be back soon. In case anyone cares. :P
