Of course, Laz holds the seat of Senator so my post is worth little more than the value of the paper this is on (which is nothing as usual), however, in his continued inactive activity (He sees, but does not speak very often), I think there is need of me to fill in the Imperial Silence, with some statements to show that we are active as a faction.

The Empire has always worked with fewer than required numbers in faction activity status for quite a long stretch of time. From the days of my joining, Thrawn and Craggnosk held interchangeable leadership between the two, often taking up the position from each other whenever things got ploin shaped for their individual reasons for each individual time. Of course when I came along, just as anyone these days comes along and tries to be a third person in the Empire or fourth, we naturally place them in a third rate position and wait for them to come up in either our absence or fill a purpose which requires some lack of ambition.

However, the Empire has always had to a certain degree a rule of two, with one in advisory role and one in leadership. There has been instances where this rule has been broken. the Regency era I hear was not very much so, my Tarkor and Otto era is also lacking. Laz's early era was also lacking within the faction but whenever I was around I always gave advice and recommendations when asked. Now, in his inactive activity, I cover the grunt's work on his behalf and make the board suffer with my extensive yet useless posts where required.

The BSP in my opinion has never had this, and while Gorda and in the past people like Pellinora and the like have seemed to get close, they either leave or reduce themselves to having fun which as far as I am concerned, perfectly fine. Leading a faction is fun to people like myself and the like, but in the end some may find it a chore not worth doing. Thats what the third tier posts are for leading the charge in a squadron of Frigates and aboard Star Destroyers.

The BSP is long overdue to have a reshuffle. To appoint a Co-FL in his absence is more than sufficient. The only trouble is that as Co-FL the Faction will still suffer from the inability to hand over Faction Resources to its members when needed. But since the Senate is not being asked to give our good friend that, I as a member of SL do not see any forseeable problems arising from the Senate fulfilling his request.

While it is off topic, while Thrion has given his two cents on the matter, I think I shall send out my opinion on the matter of the P.

Indeed, it has always gotten to me how the P seems to be the weakest of the three letters. I don't know how blue Nejdiv or Ryustlore's star is, but I am sure its Smurfier than they are Pirate-like. Active members seem to be fulfilling the role of Black Sun with a hint of Morality behind them, with a vast Pirate force that has the Empire and the Republic both cowering in fear on what it will do to upset a carefully laid down balance of power. In light of recent events, this is now just the Empire and the CSA alongside the Rebellion wondering what their next conquest will be.

Now doesn't that sound a bit...I don't know, wrong? The whole concept of Pirates I thought was the LRP (Looting, Raiding, Pillaging). You know, like the Privateers from Elizabethan England, Vikings from Scandinavia, Desperate people off the coast of Somalia etc. I wouldn't expect them to be CEOs of a mega Corporation, Morally bound Gangsters, or Drug Dealers with a consience...Actually, the last two wouldn't last long in a proper criminal context because well...I don't see them succeeding.

Perhaps this is a good time for the Senate to ask Nox to fix the issue as well?
